Class MPP 2027

I was born in San Francisco and grew up in Marin County before moving to Houston, Texas to attend Rice University where I studied political science and sport management. During my studies I also had the opportunity to get hands on policy experience through internships with the City of Oakland working on the A's proposed baseball stadium and a legal internship with an immigration law firm where I assisted with aslyum cases.

After graduating from Rice, I worked as a strategy & analytics consultant for Deloitte, helping to design and implement IT Strategy projects across the tech and healthcare industries. I also contributed to firm initiatives relating to cataloging the potential impacts of different green technologies as well as examining how public-private partnerships could be leveraged to create entertainment districts connecting sports stadiums to the surrounding community. After leaving Deloitte, I worked as an operations manager for a legal services company that retrieved medical, business, and employment records from third-party companies on behalf of our law firm clients.

At GSPP, I aim to deepen my policy analysis skills through the core courses and learn from all of the amazing experiences that my fellow classmates have brought with them. I hope to apply what I learn to creating urban development policy that creates accessible public spaces and programs that strenthen local communities and improve the mental and physical well-being of their residents.
